Dr. Mark Foglietti & Dr. Alanna Fostyk attended the Annual Clinical Assembly conference for the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons this past weekend in Chicago, IL. Dr. Foglietti hooded Dr. Fostyk for her induction as a fellow into the college. The recipients of the FACOS designation have demonstrated their commitment to the practice of surgery, surgical teaching, authorship of professional papers, and participation in local, state, and national organizations. Recipients also have adhered to the professional and ethical standards established by the profession. It is a great achievement and an honor to be hooded by her father!
Additionally, Dr. Foglietti received the prestigious designation of Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (DFACOS), which is conferred upon ACOS members for their considerable involvement, dedication, and contributions to the College and the osteopathic community. It was a monumental weekend for these two!
