Dermal Fillers for Wrinkles and Volume Loss
Dr. Mark A. Foglietti and Dr. Alanna Foglietti Fostyk offer Juvéderm hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. Hyaluronic acid is found in your natural tissue and binds to moisture, giving your skin that young, dewy glow. Juvéderm Voluma XC
Juvéderm Voluma XC is designed for volume loss in the mid-face, restoring a youthful facial contour for up to two years. Its higher concentration of hyaluronic acid provides for increased elasticity and firmness. The thicker consistency of Voluma provides structural support for the face, making it the best choice for concerns with the cheeks, chin, and nose.
Juvéderm Ultra XC
Ultra XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and increases fullness for up to one year. The cohesive gel has a high-water affinity to retain moisture. Ultra XC is ideal for lip augmentation and marionette lines, providing soft, supple skin and a plumping effect.
Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC
This Juvéderm product is used for moderate to severe folds and wrinkles. Ultra Plus XC is the most cohesive filler made by Juvéderm and has a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. The filler contains lidocaine to reduce discomfort, and the thicker, viscous material provides dramatic results for hollows and deep lines, especially nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Ultra Plus XC can also be used for lip augmentation.
Juvéderm Vollure
Vollure corrects moderate to severe lines and wrinkles for up to 18 months. It is less cohesive than Ultra Plus XC and contains less hyaluronic acid, allowing the gel to spread more easily while still providing durable wrinkle improvement. The firm consistency of Vollure corrects deep folds around the mouth and offers structural support for natural facial movements without skin creases. Juvéderm Vollure works well for nasolabial folds and lip concerns.
Juvéderm Volbella XC
Volbella XC is designed to soften perioral lines around the lips (also called smoker’s lines) and increase lip size for up to one year. This filler contains a lower concentration of hyaluronic acid and is less cohesive than other Juvéderm options, offering more natural-appearing lip enhancement. Volbella XC is the softest and thinnest Juvéderm filler and can correct fine lines in delicate areas, such as under the eyes.
Botox for Dynamic Wrinkles in the Upper Face
Botox is renowned for its wrinkle-relaxing abilities. This neuromodulator injectable works on dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions. Botox targets the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation to smooth the overlying skin. People with frown lines (11s) between their eyebrows, crow’s feet around their eyes, and horizontal forehead lines can benefit from Botox treatments. Botox may also be used off-label to improve vertical neck banding, bunny lines on the nose, chin wrinkles, and lines around the mouth.
